This morning I woke up and turned on my tv to realize that there is no Samsung TV plus app. It used to always be the first thing that would open automatically, the first app in the Smart Selection. It literally is GONE. I have never had an app just disappear like that, more specifically the own company’s app for their free provided tv service which is WHY I purchased their TV. Let’s fix this Samsung. Please and Thank You

Yes, and all of my apps at the bottom are gone also. When I turned the TV on after work, samsung TV plus played for 3 seconds and then disappeared. There is also no way apparently to reinstall the application. Not sure why this is marked solved, because clearly it is not.

A lot of the Samsung community are in the same boat. We just need to wait 24 to 48 hours for the investigation to be completed.

It’s the SIGN of the TIMES. A major Corporation like SAMSUNG can just “Take away” what is PROMISED - a FREE SERVICE “APP” that’s SOLD to us as consumers and take it away lickety split. Absolutely IRRESPONSIBLE of SAMSUNG - NO COMMUNICATION other than a bunch of BS over the phone WAStING OUR TIME in resetting our tv’s as if they don’t know over the phone that the entire APP and service has disappeared. Complete BS. Thanks “SAMSUNG” for treating US Consumers like we are not worth your time in informing us properly regarding this APP FREE “Supposed” Service that’s “Included” with our tv’s.

We ALL should write the FCC if this issue is not resolved !!! Here's the link:

All you do is write a short complaint..."Samsung plus application has been deleted from my ( and other customers)Samsung TV. No notice from Samsung. This appears to be a  permanent suspension by Samsung.  it is a poor faith and unethical action to remove an application that came automatically with their TVs.  Samsung should reinstall the application now."
