This morning I woke up and turned on my tv to realize that there is no Samsung TV plus app. It used to always be the first thing that would open automatically, the first app in the Smart Selection. It literally is GONE. I have never had an app just disappear like that, more specifically the own company’s app for their free provided tv service which is WHY I purchased their TV. Let’s fix this Samsung. Please and Thank You
I had the same thing! I was watching in my bedroom this morning and decided to change to my den. I clicked on the app and it disappeared! I was on the phone with Samsung support for over a 1/2 hour troubleshooting. We even reset the Smart Hub! Then she came back and said that maintenance was being done. Now I have to re-install any app that I had ever added! I'm glad to know it wasn't just me!
Shame on you Samsung for not giving a heads up BEFORE attempting the upgrade. I’m expecting a new Samsung tv tomorrow. If Samsung tv plus doesn’t work, the tv goes back. Way to put customers LAST!
Same with me. All my Samsung TVs don’t have it anymore. Searched for the app to reinstall it and it can’t be found. Strange, since I saw something about a month ago stating how it’s grown in both popularity and new content.
Same here, on both my Sammys. Started and 2 secs in it stopped, switched to over-the-air, then the app (home) showed no channels. I powered off the 65" thinking itvwould reset, but then the app disappeared as well.

It seems to be happening to everyone, dont make yourself crazy and lets give them.a few hours to uodate/ fix their issue. Yes, its sad they didn't give a notice on this.
Glad to hear that Samsung is rolling out a new and improved service just in time for the holidays, but a little advance notice would have kept us all from needlessly scrambling to find out what was going on.
