Samsung Apps and ServicesHi all,
Since the latest software update, I'm unable to move files to my Favorite folders. Before, in My Files, if I selected a file and clicked Move, I could select a folder in the left hand panel of the app, which included the Favorite (starred) folders. Now, since the update, if I select a file and click Move, I get a pop-up to select a folder. This pop-up includes Internal storage, OneDrive, Google Drive and Network storage. However, Favorite folders seem not to be there. Going back closes the pop-up and undoes the Move action.
The problem is I have a Favorite folder in OneDrive nested 20 folders down. I am still able to move my files there, but now it takes 20 clicks each time. That's why I create the Favorite folder in the first place.
Anyone who can assist? It's a Fold6 phone.
Thanks!

Samsung Apps and ServicesActually you can rollback the app. You go to settings, go to apps tab on the left side, find My Files app, go to the top right corner, click on the 3 dots and select uninstall updates. That way you can use just the original app or you can download an .appk file of an older version.

Samsung Apps and ServicesUninstall myfiles app via Google play store. It just uninstall something but leaves the app usable and it went back to normal. Hold down on file, move file, select anywhere, place file, done. I'll never update the myfiles app again haha

Samsung Apps and ServicesI agree, the new move popup feels like a step backwards. I wouldn't mind it quite so much if it at least had a tab or something to show favourited folders.
I'd be curious to know what design decision triggered this change because I felt the previous method of moving files was straightforward and logical.
