RE: Samsung Gallery 11.5.11.1
For all the incredible features included in this app how is it possible that there is no method to attach a note to a photo? In the bad ole days of film photography one could write a simple note on the back of a photo so that you could later remember something about it. Perhaps it might be a list of who's in it, or what event it's at, or why the picture was taken.
It just strikes me as mind-numbingly stupid that for all the genius advanced features of our new way of photography this very basic function isn't possible.
I can imagine 2 neat interfaces IF this capability was available. 1- It could be just a note you could access & edit via the photo's details. Or 2- When you open a photo a pencil icon momentary appears in one of the corners that indicates that either a note exists for the photo and the path to access it; or this icon acts as an invitation to create one. Holding your finger over the corner that this icon had momentary appeared when you opened the photo makes it reappear to click on.
Please Please PLEASE add this function to Samsung Gallery!!!
Does anyone else agree with this? Or, could recommend a 3rd party gallery app that does this!

Searching around this community , I see this question has been asked before. "Solutions" of adding text on top of photo using the pencil icon to place text on the photo seems to be the most common answer.
To be clear: This is NOT what I'm trying to do. I do not want to mar all my photos with text on the front.
I want to be able to add a note on the "back". It may even be a long description.

I find it difficult to believe that I'm all alone in being annoyed that a simple written description cannot be added to a photograph?! Here we have a device that has both a camera and a keyboard. Come on; how difficult could it be!?
What I want is to be able to edit the Descriptive metadata/exif file of an individual photograph. Preferably, with a graceful interface like the two I described in my first post.
Individual edits would be fine. Batch edits would be even better.
It's just patently stupid that this functionality doesn't exit!

I've tried the few apps on the Google Play store that claim to be able to edit EXIF data in photos. Either they simply didn't work or the interface was too complicated to practically used.
Please make this function native to Samsung Gallery in an update.
