A lot of apps that were on my SD card from old tablet is not showing up on my new Tab S8 Ultra

Hi everyone.. can you help?

Bought my tab s8 ultra 2 days ago and love it so far😉

However...I transferred everything from tab s7 plus fine...then inserted SD card from old tab to this one.

Well I got all of my gallery, thank God, and some other things BUT..so many of the apps I had on the card never showed up!!..a lot!!😭

Any ideas what to do??..will it harm anything if I remove the SD and try reinserting again??

The apps don't fully move onto the sd card; it just holds the data from the apps.

I thought when sd card was installed the apps would then show up on new tab.🤔

unfortunately not, as MochaVex stated it does not hold the apps just data for them. You'll need to redownload apps or use smart switch to transfer them (probably the easiest solution)
