TabletsThe maximum resolution on the Tab S9 display is the resolution of the actual Tab S9 Display. It is less than 4k. Now connect an external 4k display to that same tablet and start your movie app from that display and you will get that video in 4k resolution.
Looking at your Tab display as opposed to the external 4k display I doubt that wou would be able to tell the difference... I can't with mine.
Also, you can get a graphic display of your resolution by turning on Developer Options->GPU Watch.

TabletsThere's no comparison here. Even at less than 4k native, the density of pixels that are refreshing at 120hz will still provide a better viewing experience.
