S9 Ultra Book Cover Keyboard, Can't type "?" in Gmail App

Hello,

When composing an email in the Gmail App, every time I type "?" (shift + ?/ key) the keyboard shortcut menu comes up. Apparently, the key "?" is set to open the keyboard shortcut menu in the Gmail App (see image below). In effect, I can't type a question mark in an email.

I've tried to find a setting to avoid this, but to no avail. The only work-around I have found is to type "?" in some other app, copy it, then paste it into Gmail. This is rather ridiculous in my opinion.

Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions?

Thanks!

@mligot According to that screenshot, the ? should only act that way if you hold down the CMD key.

Are you accidentally hitting the CMD key? Or have you remapped one (or more) of the Shift keys to the CMD key?
