OK. I now have the owner's manual ands just noticed it doesn't mention the nifty pen that came with my tablet. It has 2 sides, one is soft, the other side unscrews to reveal a flexible point with a circular plastic piece on the end.

My daughter bought it as a bundle.

Good afternoon. The Tab A7 does not come with the Samsung S Pen. My guess id that the retailer provided a capacitive stylus with your device, which will provides the ability to control or write in the screen in the same manner as using your finger. You should contact the retailer for more information on the stylus that was bundled with your tablet.

Thank you. I'll have to find out who she got it from. The stylus is very nice, but I'm not sure how the other end works. The tip is kind of odd.
