DVE50A8600E will not turn on

Hi friends. I have a DVE50A8600E dryer that has gone out of warranty. Pressing the power button does not bring anything to life. The light in the drum does come on when I open the door, so i know there is power to the machine. Pressing the door switch turns the light on/off so I'm pretty sure that is functioning properly. I tried unplugging to reset the cpu and that didn't work.

I decided to take a chance an replace the control board, but that didn't help. Seems like that just leaves the display board. 

Interested in suggestions before investing more money in this machine.

PS. I called in a pro and he didn't like my control board, but its tough to tell if hes just  because i put it in myself.
