My new Galaxy Book Go will not read my external WD Passport Ultra drive. Need some advise.

This is something you will need to contact Western Digital support for help with. Looking at their support page, I do not see any updates for Windows 11, but it may be something they have an answer for.

I understand the frustration of not locating a USB drive. Have you tried a different USB cable or USB port? Can you check for updated USB and WD Passport drivers?

I have the latest driver. The laptop is new. I only have one USB port.

The layout shows 1 USB 2.0 and 2 USB-C ports. Have you tried a different cable?

No the cable is unique. The end that goes into the drive is different from the usual cable.

Do you get any notification, message, or indication on the laptop when the drive is connected?

I get the following notification:
You must run the WD Drive Unlock application from the WD Drive Unlock CD associated with the Drive you want to unlock.

Also, are you running Windows 10 or Windows 11?
