I have a USB stick with a Windows 11 installer and a Samsung NVME 990 Pro 4TB.

A Samsung drive is present in the BIOS, but not in boot order list.
Once Windows 11 installer has booted, it doesn't see my Samsung drive.

I got the following message: "a media driver your computer needs is missing"

Funny thing is that I see my drive in windows prompt while installation.
But installator has required driver.

Previously I installed Ubuntu 24.04 and everything went smoothly.

How to solve this?

P.S. Motherboard is ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-H GAMING WI-FI.
P.S. Bios has been updated.

Maybe it is the motherboar. On Amazon i read a review that it has usb instability and warning when installing windows. Is there another usb port you can try, and what about unchecking that box about hidden drivers?

I don't think so, because I installed Ubuntu before. No problems at all, only with Windows installer.

Yes. No problem at all.

You can see that a drive is present in windows command line.

You may have to use MS-Dos and convert the drives file system

I have solved this problem.
I used `dd` (a command-line utility) and Etcher to write a Windows 11 image to the drive, but this didn't work.

Use Rufus to write a Windows image properly.
That's the solution.

I had no Windows PC, which was a problem. I only had macOS, so I installed UTM to install Windows and run Rufus. OMG!
