Flip 4 mic not working and not receiving all text

I installed the update about 2 weeks ago now my phone mic does not work I have to use a speaker. As a result my Google assistant does not work an I do not receive all my text msg. 

I called Att was on phone over 1 hrs they had me rest phone to factory mode which didn't work. I then called the insurance Co text support who couldn't help me.

Long story short I have to wait for the update or pay my 250 ded for a new phone. Or wait for the new update. Help
