I just got my new buds and when I put them on there is a static noise and the adaptive setting doesn't work for me. Is anyone else having this issue?

Hello PureFlash, Welcome to the Community. We understand how upsetting it is to experience a static noise when trying to enjoy your new earbuds.

If this does not help, the earbuds will need to be serviced. You also have the option of returning them.

To return the buds, you will need to contact e-commerce by calling 1-855-726-8721.

You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.

Adaptive sound works great here, but I do get a squeal sound when pressing on them to put them in.

This seems to be similar to the issue I am having. It looks like it happens if you are touching certain places of the earbuds while putting them in or out. Taking it out by pinching and plucking from the stem seems to not do this.

Not great for people with long hair that goes over ears since there can be crackling noises when taking them out since the buds react to hair brushing against the earbuds when taking them out.
