Galaxy Note PhonesI've had this phone now for about 3 weeks. Yesterday, the camera started opening up on its own about every 5 mins. I have gone thru all the setting/permissions I can think of trying to solve the issue. If i'm using the phone the camera will open up over whatever ap I'm using, or if the phone is setting idle the camera will open up. Is anyone else having this issue? Any ideas on how to fix?

I know this may not be the ideal step you want to take, but have you attempted to fully back up the device and perform a factory reset? Doing this will reset the device to its factory settings.
If you still experience the same issues after a factory reset, I would recommend the device evaluated by a technician.

Galaxy Note PhonesThank you for providing that information. If the issue is still persistent even when your phone is in safe mode you will need to perform a factory reset on your phone. I would recommend the device be evaluated by a technician.
