Goggle map "DONE" does not close out the app Galaxy S20

Tapping DONE will not close out Google map on my S20.

"Sometimes it will but if you select a review face for the trip it won't. That seems to be a trigger for the lack of sensitivity of the "DONE."

The screen acts as if insensitive to touch in the DONE area.

The only recourse is to drag up the close/minimize symbol at the bottom to close the app.

ODDLY...it hasn't always been a problem just developed over the last 6 months or so.

Tried rebooting, software refresh, etc with no effect.

It's no biggie because I have a "work-around," just an annoyance.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced?

Nice to know I'm not alone...
Didn't realize I would need to be shuttling grandkids around these days so much...always using Google maps in DFW area with the traffic congestion and construction.

Even more so, my Google Maps, when connected with Android Auto, gets stuck glitched on my phone screen and won't go away for a few seconds after connecting.
