So, I have a bought a Samsung Galaxy S10, and the first 30 minutes, it's overheating. The back and the sides are hot. Why is this happening?

Yes, my phone was completely off and still very hot. I think it just updated last night.

I'm having the exact same issue. My phone constantly loses LTE, has no data connection or it has no service at all. Now it's literally burning me from the sides, that's how hot it gets. When I'm not doing anything.

Mines doing the same exact thing on my second phone. I pre-ordered the s10 plus and within a week was constantly dropping signal, phone was overheating, and battery draining within an hour. I returned the phone, and was sent another and I've had it for almost a month now and now I'm having the same exact issue.

I'm having the same issue. Worked great then as of 4/9/19, it started to heat up especially on the sides -- it's SO hot. Constantly roaming or losing service altogether. I have the latest updates, checked apps, and restarted the phone. Still hot and roaming/dropping service.

Hey there @Kymmy26, would you mind sending us a private message here with your full model code and serial number so I can look into this for you?

I am having this same exact issue and no one seems to  be resolving it.  I basically have a 1000 dollar phone that doesn't work. My gfs S10 plus works great so I know it's not a carrier issue.

@userLIEcZbMD9t Have you tried any of the troubleshooting steps mentioned previously in this thread?

Not a resolve but this is exactly what is happening with mine.  I spent over an hour on the phone on Wednesday.  I was told that a production batch has a bad antenna which causes it to continuously search for signal and drop in and out.  My phone wont last 8 hours if I am not on WIFI, and it overheats horribly.  VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED.   Now I'm supposed to take it to another town to a Sprint store for possible repair.  I waited to get this phone.  Boy that seems like a bad move.  I preordered and no ear buds are available.    I use my phone when I work ad in sure many many people do.  THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE.    I'm not done with this debacle yet.  Looks like it's time to look at other options; not Samsung and not Sprint
