Galaxy S PhonesHello. After the Android 11 update I'm not able to change the notification sound for individual apps on my S20 Ultra. On Android 10 I was able to set different notification tones for different apps but now I've searched everywhere on the 11 update and I can't. Is there a way or is it just not possible anymore?
Solved! Go to Solution.

Galaxy S PhonesI can do this with my S20+ so you should be able to do the same. Go to settings/notifications - - then pick recently sent or "more"... select the app: general notifications; sound/ then pick the sound you want
Hope this works for you!
Be sure to click " ā Accept as Solution" when you find an answer that works for you. - Thanks!

Galaxy S PhonesI just checked both the Samsung Messages (stock) app and Gmail on my s20+ and they both have the ability to change noticication tones... on Gmail, go to settings/apps/gmail/notifications/mail or misc./sound and pick which sound you'd like; you can use same process with Samsung Messages...
I guess this should work for your Ultra....? Good luck. keep us posted.

Galaxy S PhonesI couldn't find it either because of that unhelpful menu choice 'miscellaneous' So for the Galaxy A71 Android 11 it's settings/apps/gmail/notifications/miscellaneous/sound. Thanks to DGM for their post.
Oops I just noticed this thread is for S20.. Well hope it's helpful anyway.
