Does anyone else have this issue? It started after the last update. I had Samsung trouble shoot through Samsung Tutor and was told it needed a new battery, yet this site's battery diagnostic tool says the battery is normal. The techs have also pushed trading this phone in for a S24 BUT I would still have to pay off the balance due AND finance the new phone.

Hey there! I can certainly understand how concerning it is when your phone gets hot and the battery is draining quickly.
I found these troubleshooting steps that may help with the battery drain (https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001538/).
You can also try clearing the cache partition of the phone.
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key, then press and hold the Side key.
- When the green Android logo displays, release all keys ('Installing system update' will show for about 30 - 60 seconds before showing the Android system recovery menu options).
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press Side key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, them and press the Side key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Side key to restart the device.
As far as the device getting hot, if the device is getting too hot to the touch I would suggest having a certified technician take a look at it just in case!
You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by calling customer support at 1-800-726-7864. For service outside the U.S., please use this link: https://www.samsung.com/us/common/visitlocationsite.html I do apologize for any inconvenience.
