Apps icons greyed after update

Everything is Grey now, pull down menu apps are all Grey. Display is grayish now after update. What the heck?

If you change your color palette you chan change the buttons like before

My problem is at a lowered brightness the display becomes hazy with a green tint. I always have my phone at a lowered brightness, so this is extremely frustrating.
