On the S21+, the repair Apps function of the boot menu is no longer functional. You can select it, the phone restarts, and never repairs any apps at all. It fails to reoptimize apps as well. This is highly problematic and could have far reaching ramifications. A factory reset doesn't fix this. I can confirm with multiple other users that they are also having the same problem among others with the device since updates including with the device's display being washed out and not properly utilizing the backlight making contrast off and black color areas looking somewhat dark gray and like there's a thin white film over the whole screen at all times. Something is awry here and it's with the full update. No troubleshooting steps help. I can also confirm with a few users who took their devices to be repaired that it is not a hardware issue, but is indeed a software problem with the update that needs to be rectified. This is also causing abnormally quick battery consumption for many users.

I am having the same problem on my s23 u tb unlocked... No repair apps is possibly a firmware corruption issue and could prove a huge mess ... My apps are already so messed up..the **bleep** native crappy apps you can't even disable .. sucks

I'm here because of the same. My S23U the repair apps ain't giving the indication that it did anything. It boots up too quickly so I know it didn't "repair apps" as selected.
