Text Messaging no longer works in car!

I have recently received the latest update for my S21.

Since this update I can now no longer receive or send text messages from my Land Rover. prior to the update everything worked fine. When I press on text messaging on my in car infotainment unit it jus says 'Text Messaging Not Available'

I have tried to look at bluetooth settings and the text messaging button no longer exists, only calls and audio. I have unpaired the units, repaired and still nothing works. Has anyone else had this issue please, and fixed it?

My phone is connected to my u.Connect in my Van and I can't.For some reason, received text messages on my.You connect screen if someone sends me a message.Why is that and how do I get that app and go on without airing my device again?Because i've already tried to earn my device

Having the same issue 2023 Honda pilot just stopped working one day. Samsung s 22 phone

you'll have to reach out to the manufacturer of your car to update the bluetooth system. More than likely the update made the device incompatible with car. Report it to your manufacturer and wait for update on their end.

Same, got a new phone and now car won't display text messages 😒

Same here.  Bought an A25 and cannot send or receive text messages in my 2024 Telluride.

Me too. I have a Samsung A13, and no longer allowing messages from my Toyota.

Same. Was working fine until a week ago. Still can connect music, but the text messages will not come through on my car. It's very frustrating. I've unpaired, repaired, disconnected, restarted, etc., and nothing works to get them back!

Samsung S23

No longer reads or lists text messages in my new Nissan. Sees a message come in, but when I press read on my driver display, nothing happens. Go into text messages, just constantly says "messages are being updated" .

No issue with Bluetooth as music plays, call log displays. 

Partner's Oppo phone has no issue in my car so not a Nissan issue. Tried another car, same issue for me in that car too. 

Have literally done everything. 

Restarts, shut down phone, unpair, forget phone, clean caches, checked for updates.

Extremely frustrating.
