I have been reading up on this myself. I can't say I've gotten closer to understanding the developer option (but i'm not developing or debugging.... YET!!). I will leave a few links that clarified for me if its important to why phone codes aren't working on on my Unlocked Fold2 5g (Verizon Prepay svc.).
