Galaxy S23@CezarX I think that site has a viewpoint which just doesn't gel with the current Samsung/Google relationship. You are looking at past history. Instead look at current articles:

Galaxy S23But, i do wonder, how come Samsung continually pushing me to use OneDrive instead of other cloud services?
I'm still learning this whole new android OS and am not used to see many options in my face. Most important of all, i dont want to snyc anything to any backup just yet.

Galaxy S23Of course you don't have to use Onedrive and can use Google Drive, Google One instead as I do. It works very similar to a Pixel.
Also Samsung has implemented call screening which used to be a Google exclusive feature.
So have no fear Apple user. Samsung is simply trying to offer what it thinks most of it's users want. That's all. No Microsoft conspiracy. If you go into Apps and find Onedrive you can disable it. Then the back up choice will default to Google.
