Galaxy S23
Pics does not exist as a file. Neither in My files nor DCIM folder. When tapping at pic it says "processing" and 4 squares are rotating around - looks like it's trying to optimize picture.
Already tried:
- forced stop gallery
- deleted cache on gallery / camera
- deleted data on galllery / camera
- restarted phone
- optimized
- hooked up phone to computer
- manually deleted camera folder - after this, camera folder appeared again automatically and inside the folder i can find this gray icons with exclamation mark.
- uinstalled updates on gallery
- resinstalled updates on gallery
- I never ever have had synced phone with any cloud services
Any ideas? Resetting phone is not a valid option, please do not suggest this as a solution.

Galaxy S23Did you ever get it to delete? Mine has started doing this with a photo I really need to delete for sensitive information reasons.

Galaxy S23S24 also having this issue. Coming from iphone is frustrating thing to see happening its a issue that I wouldn't expect to see on a 2024 phone. No iphones have hlever this issue.
Love s24 but these android nonsense issues drive me mad

Galaxy S23Samsung. Please please bring back delete without going to trash function. This grey out issue is because the file no longer exist and cannot be moved to trash.
