Issues with printing comes out with black background?

Problem printing from s23...documents print with black background.

I'm having the same issue, not sure if the others commenting understand... This only started happening after the last major software update in November 2023. I have a S23 Ultra. When I would print a document from my phone, it used to print black text on my white printer paper, but now when I print from my phone, it wastes a ton of ink by making the background all black and the text white. I have looked in settings and everything and there's nothing to change. I have a feeling it is a bug that Samsung needs to fix because I never had this issue prior to that last update. Same thing is happening with my husband's phone, another S23 Ultra.

FIX- Download the Brother Print Service Plug In. I did that, and it worked. The first time I printed, I had to print directly from inside the app instead of clicking print while inside the document. But it works now!

Dropping in to add that I also have this issue as well as my parents. I think its the camera app, at least for us, as using a 3rd party scan or camera and then printing the captured image does not result in the grey backgrounds.

Help I am having the same problem.  Whenever I print anything it comes out with a black background!   HELP it is driving me nuts trying to fix this on my own!!

Been having the same probably for a couple months now. Only on my S23 Ultra. Have no idea what's causing it. Several updates since and no fix.

SOLUTION: I found a solution when reading through the Pixel message boards.
Step 1: Turn off "Default Print Service" by going to Settings>Connections>More Connection Settings>Printing
Step 2: Download the Mopria Print Service app and use that when you're choosing the selected printer.
I've had luck using just my Dell Document Hub as the selected print option as well.
