My wife and my phone also prints with a black background and white letters... never did that before the update. Definitely was the update. We print with our phones all the time and this is an issue. My wife and I both have the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

i thought i was THE only 1 with my s22 ultra just out of NO WHERE start printing all black background.  now i know this is definitely something with UPDATE or i believe it started when i was on trial BETA..

Have a Galaxy S22, and it is printing white on black as well with Brother printer.  I suspect too, that is has to do with the latest update.  Please fix!

This is suddenly happening on my Mom's Samsung S23 also. Never happened before the update. We have went through so much ink because of this. This needs to be fixed!

Same problem as described as above.  Black background when printing.  Why is Samsung refusing to issue update with a fix.  Seeing how it's a update that created the problem.

SOLUTION: I found a solution when reading through the Pixel message boards.
Step 1: Turn off "Default Print Service" by going to Settings>Connections>More Connection Settings>Printing
Step 2: Download the Mopria Print Service app and use that when you're choosing the selected printer.
I've had luck using just my Dell Document Hub as the selected print option as well.

I Uninstalled the app off my phone and reinstalled it. Also went to printer settings on the phone and chose toner save to be ON... not sure which one fixed it but now when I print off my phone it isn't a full page of black, wasted ink!!
