hello, i am new here. I bought Samsung S23 Ultra from a guy on Facebook about 50m months ago and registered it on my Metro by Tmobile network, used it for 2 months without any problem then while traveling in Mexico my phone stopped working and i got a warning from Samsung that my phone is either stolen, unpaid, lost etc. Phone became totally dysfunctional. I went to phone repair and one guy made it work but barely, it kept resetting and was hard to use. When i got back to US i hard reset it and it doesnt work animore showing the same warning as before. Called Samsung twice but they just gave my lip service. Tried local repair shops but nobody is willing to help. Checked IMEI many times and every time my phone came out clean, not stolen not unpaid not locked. I should be able to find out original carrier by IMEI number but i could not find it. Very frustrated

When this happens, unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. The phone is now worthless for you.

7 months ago Samsung started blocking gray market phones that were imported to Mexico. Sounds like your guy on Facebook may have acquired the phone that way.

The S23 Ultra was released about 16 months ago. So if you bought this 50 months ago, it is not a legit S23 Ultra.

Try a new SIM card from provider . Don't use eSIM.
