These are the worst preorder trade-in deals ever. How dare Samsung try forcing us to sign contracts for 36 months with carriers to get the best deals. Gen Mill and Gen Z hate contracts. People need to boycott till they drop the prices for unlocked trade. For the previous s22 and fold and flip 4 models. CLEARLY SOME PEOPLE ARE BRAINWASHED STILL GETTING THEM. Sadly looking for clout as well. How pathetic.

Again, this isn't my first rodeo with this. Samsung places a 0 dollar pending charge for the trade in. I see all of those.

For me, Samsung placed full amount before confirming the order.

I got $ 2000.00 with my Trade-in for two phones, I wanted the unlocked version but Samsung was offering half of what I'm getting now, plus Verizon will unlock the phones after 60 days.

After you paid off the phone, you can request to unlock the phone.

Did you purchase/trade in through Samsung or Verizon? Did you need to have the trade in phone activated before ordering? I saw a note that said the phone must be the active line. I have an iPhone I want to trade in instead of the flip phone I'm currently using. Thanks for your advice.

What a joke t his year! Such horrible trade in values even for the s22u. I cancelled my order for s23u the next day and sent a complaint to samsung. They are treating their long term customers poorly this year.  Much discussion on other forums of people not upgrading for the same reason.  Ill keep my money samsung.

I agree the trade INS were very disappointing. I cancelled my order as well and don't regret it at all. In 3 months they will probably increase their trade in values. They gotta make money off the ppl the just have to have the latest first.

I know right? I would have thought the 22 ultra would be more for the trade in but it's actually the z fold 4 has more value

NOPE!!! 500 for S22 ultra that's working like a dream, next year, maybe.
