These are the worst preorder trade-in deals ever. How dare Samsung try forcing us to sign contracts for 36 months with carriers to get the best deals. Gen Mill and Gen Z hate contracts. People need to boycott till they drop the prices for unlocked trade. For the previous s22 and fold and flip 4 models. CLEARLY SOME PEOPLE ARE BRAINWASHED STILL GETTING THEM. Sadly looking for clout as well. How pathetic.

I got my 23 ultra yesterday, upgrading from the 22 ultra and this phone is so much better even compared to the 22. The battery life has been showing an amazing improvement, I've been actively using the phone for the last 4 hours and it's only gone down 10% between watching tik tok and scrolling through social media

It's definitely an upgrade. You would get a QHD+ screen that can be used with the 120hz refresh rate. Much improved camera, processor, pretty much everything. Also if you pre order through the Shop app you are eligible for a free Galaxy Watch 5

Just set mine up yesterday. Nothing to add for comparison but I think that trade in allowance and the upgrade on double gigs has an expiration date of 2/16/23 with AT&T

Does anyone continue to experience Two-Factor authentication issues when trying to pre-order an S23 by upgrading an existing line with T-Mobile?
I can login with my T-Mobile phone number and PIN, but Two-Factor authentication always fails when entering the OTP code send by T-Mobile.

Unfortunately no.  Tried from different browsers, computers, location and no luck.
Samsung and T-Mobile support have no clue.  They suggest to clear cookies, private browser mode etc.

This does not even work in their own Samsung android application.

After using Chrome developer tools, it appears that once you enter the OTP number received from T-Mobile, the Samsung.com website tries to perform an authentication API call such as: https://www.samsung.com/us/api/ecom/v4/carrier/t-mobile/shopping-carts/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...
which returns error 400, typically malformed call to the API.  The response is something like:

{"statusCode":404,"error":"Not Found","message":"Not Found"}

It almost seems like the website does not add the OTP code in the return call to verify Two-Factor authentication.
Some people suggested that the account may belong to any of the categories listed that are not eligible for this trade-in offer, and although T-Mobile confirmed that my account does not belong to any of these types, it still does not work.

I think a Samsung developer responsible for this website functionality should be able to resolve this, but good luck with that.

It is so frustrating that the price for the Fold Z dropped from almost $2k to nothing when we are trying to trade in for the flag ship phone.
Not super happy with the fold to be honest... not a great camera at all and had my entire phone replaced for a repaired one because it suddenly showed a black ink inside the internal display. When using Instagram, and other apps it cuts the video most of the time and you can't see the entire video as I believe most apps are not Fold supported.

Yeah the z fold series just an overpriced phone and a  battery life I figured it would get glitches I hear a lot of people complaining about similar to the same thing that's why I stick with the S series

At least take screenshots lol. Also it's better than my iPhone that I had it didn't even work because I it was an SOS mode the whole time I had it for 3 months and they wouldn't help me at all lol... I thought it would be more secure but I got hacked like in a week .... I'm only grateful this phone actually works better than the other one I'm glad I can get into it because it doesn't go on SOS mode and also it's not perfect , it doesn't do my face recognization anymore and doesn't do certain things it should but at least it's better than the iPhone lol lolScreenshot_20230204_110225_Chrome.jpgScreenshot_20230208_121354_Chrome.jpg

Last year I traded in my s21ultra for $850 towards the s22ultra. Now I'm getting $500 for my s22ultra to trade it in for the s23ultra. Please make me understand.
