When attempting to take a picture and a small yellow icon pops up in the lower right corner of the picture, What i can figure out is this is to edit any text out of the picture, you tap that icon and the picture is perfectly fine. HOW do i delete/uninstall that feature, I dont want my text edited or changed, If i did i wouldnt take the picture

This is an intelligent feature to extract/copy text from photos. Are you running the One UI 6 beta by chance?

@userr45W6qAwAp Don't worry, that feature is not what you think. This does not eliminate text from the picture. This feature allows you to COPY selected text from the photo to your clipboard. Then you can paste it into other applications, etc.

If you don't want this button to appear, click the Gear icon in the Camera app to access the settings. Then turn off the feature "Scan documents and text".

**bleep** in the details and understand the copy: LongHiker had it right.

Settings (in Rear Camera)/Scan docs and text/On-Off (OFF to rid of Yellow "T")

If "ON", it will show a button to scan docs/text. You now have two choices :

1-Auto scan ON (capture docs/text without pressing the shutter button)

2-Remove unwanted objects ON (Auto remove of our opposing thumbs when scanning docs).

Removing #2 is haphazard, because removing means it's Strawberry- Fields-All-The-Way-Down. Gotta think about that...AI.
