Galaxy S24Using Buds2 is easy. But streaming something to the buds stops when the phone locks. For example, listening to music which I select on the phone. If I just set the phone down, it a short while it locks and shuts off the display. This also shuts off the music. Same thing happens if I press the power button to lock the screen. I have to then tap the buds to get the audio to start again.
I've asked Samsung support about this but they don't know. And there appears to be no way to create a ticket.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Galaxy S24@wil134 This probably means that the app you are using for music is set to Restricted in Battery settings. When the phone screen blanks, it typically causes these apps to be paused.
BTW, to submit a bug, open the Samsung Members app, click on Support in lower right, click on Send feedback, click the pencil icon to create an item.

Galaxy S24Thanks LongHiker. The same thing happens for duckduckgo and chrome, but it works for voicerecorder. If I go to permissions for my app, it says no permissions allowed and I can't change that. If I go to the permissions manager and select music and audio, my app does not show in the not allowed list.
So I see no way to add permissions.
Thanks for the advice on submitting a bug report. For now, I'll assume the bug is me.
Thanks again.

Galaxy S24Did that. Set battery usage to unrestricted. Same results.

Galaxy S24Thanks realaud,
Looked around but I see no way to set a routine to do this.
It stinks being so clueless. But at least there are people like you and LongHiker willing to help us clueless.
Thanks,
Dave

Galaxy S24In the "if" choose Bluetooth device and choose your buds. You can add another if, such as app open=spotify (or whatever) or media being played, then when both conditions are met, your phone will remain unlocked for up to 4 hours.

Galaxy S24did that too. my routine looks exactly like yours, except "When after saving" but that appears to be OK. Had to login to my Samsung account (which I don't like because it gives way too much data to Samsung), then enable Customization Service. Automatic routine appears to be running. Rebooted anyway.
Same results. 😞
The app is PowerAmp. I think I have the latest version installed. I'm going to post over there to see if anyone has seen this.
Thanks,
Dave
