Charger repeatedly uncharges, then charges in a loop

I recently bought a 45 watt charger so my S24U can charge even quicker than before, however, when I plug the charger in, it REPEATEDLY uncharges, then charges, uncharges, then charges, and the constant vibration and the screen pop-up is driving me insane. Does anybody know how to solve this?

Hello, welcome to the Community, and thanks for reaching out. I can certainly understand your frustration with the repeated charging then not charging occurring. As @patriciostarr suggested, try different cables to see if that makes any difference. If not, check the charging port to see if there is any damage there.  There is also a guide that can help with the S24 Ultra not charging: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshoot/TSG10001462/ 

If other cables do the same thing, and/or you see any damage to the charging port, service will be needed. 

For service in the U.S., you can take the phone to a local U.S. walk-in service location https://www.ubreakifix.com/samsung  or to ship the phone in for service, please reach out to us via one of the following options:
