Galaxy S24 Battery Drain

Always On Display drains nearly 2% of battery per hour on my S24 Ultra. This is much higher than the S23 Ultra. Hopefully this will be fixed in an update?

I've never seen it that high on my phones. I have an S24+ now, and in the past 7 days, the highest it got was 9.4%. Normally, it averages 4 to 5%. And I have it always on - when I'm not using it that is.

Can't see what it does overnight because it's always on a wireless charger at night.

I've attached a screenshot of both AOD page and its version. Does anything look different from yours?

Turn on power saving mode and see if that helps.

This is why I NEVER use this. On none of my devices, S24 ultra, apple watch ultra or iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Had the phone for a month, can someone help? I've done literally all basic troubleshooting. Battery usage is at a copping 208%, with Google Play services consuming the most battery. What's causing this?!

Try booting the phone into safe mode and see if it works any better in that configuration. If it does, that would generally mean that you have some type of 3rd party software installed, causing your problem.

So it is from the software update. My carrier did a test in safe mode, and it is not the battery. @communityuser3e0eder FYI ASAP

Thats just life with the exynos version my friend

If you have a that phone with the exynos chip that is problem it runs hot feel a life of it it can never get through the day half a day of charge when it's fully charged and it tends to overheat really bad I think he's the switch it out for the snapdragon you have a better chance with that version of the s24 ultra
