@Buchie Your data will be pretty much secure as long as you don't provide an opening. Don't visit sketchy sites or weird sites. Be suspicious and don't click on every link which pops up. Don't install random 3rd party apps, especially ones with low ratings. Some 3rd party apps provide some nominal functionality but harbor malicious intents.
Also quit using your phone number in any 2-step verifications for sites. Use the authenticator apps from Google or Microsoft instead. If they clone your SIM data, hackers can intercept those messages gaining access to those accounts and send you a false code to distract you in attempting to sign in again while they lock you out of your own account.
