I just got my Galaxy 24 and I hope there's a way to turn that off. Unless it's pop ups, spam, or I'm being hacked or something than my 50 years on this planet keeping myself "safe" after watching 'Faces of Death' as a teenager and so in should warrant me the decision maker on what I do with my phone. This fkng censorship was something we crushed ino with Tipper Gore in the 80s, only being warned by dumb parental advisory stickers that made us want stuff more. They are burning books as harmless as my favorite children's book I can no longer get (unless I have an extra 5 grand laying around for a used copy) which was "McElligot's Pool", banned a LONG time before "cancel culture" by Dr. SUESS'S own book company under his name, (ahh but I was just interupted; spam called by Allstate Ins., maybe Samsung's AI can start there?)
I have to read on to see if there's a way around this. Maybe they need to decide who can have a Samsung phone and service without thar if they can prove to be over 18. I mean we send 18 year olds off to war and wonder why they're coming back all scrambled in the head, but we still do it; we haven't taken guns out of the hands of criminals or high risk mentally unstable people....or hey, I live in Colorado, 12 "incidendts" and 61 deaths since 1993 (they started counting there because the beginning of the 1990s to the end of '93 was probably too high to count. Theybdownplay SO MUCH but then ban books about major historical events or books like McElligot's Pool

No one is censoring anything. People are free to read the very short news article. You're right, although I'm not the one deciding, I definitely feel that there should be limits on the type of information language models can provide. This is because they cannot reliably distinguish between morally questionable, ethically objectionable, or radicalized material and information meant to be pedagogical in nature. It's better that they not be allowed to discuss such topics, than to potentially feed individuals misinformation or a skewed perspective.

You can write literal **bleep** and have chatgpt or claude review for spelling and grammar. It won't write adult content for you, but you can ask it to edit it. I disagree though, there's no real need to censor llm's.
