Visual voicemail app not available on unlocked phone

I can't find the visual voicemail app on the samsung store on my s25 ultra. My friend has it on his s24 ultra

Also, restart your phone and try accessing the app again. I was having the same issue, and I realized that I hadn't restarted my phone since I received it. Once I did, it asked me to set up the voicemail again, and it worked fine.

Turn off wifi and set it up on mobile data

I had to turn off the wifi and connect to only the mobile 5g service and it setup correctly and works well

Visual voicemail is sadly a tool that carriers use to convince people to buy branded devices.  Lots of carriers restrict Visual Voicemail to device that are locked to their carrier, and the sim card will actually disable the app from working if it is installed in an unlocked variant of the same device.  You can call in and complain to your carrier, but the person answering the phone will have no idea what you are talking about as they don't even inform their own employees that they do this.

Not true. I have an unlocked phone & use AT&T Visual Voicemail app

Actually this is still true. It does not happen to all unlocked phones. I am on an unlocked S24 ultra on AT&T and have it,but others don't. Just because it is not true for you does not mean it is not true for others.
