Galaxy Watch Ultra Quick replies in Messages app

If I respond to a text message through notifications to Google Messages on my Watch Ultra, I can edit, add and delete quick responses. BUT, If I open up the Google Messages app on my watch and want to reply to a message there is a different list of quick replies. I can't seem to figure out where or how to customize these. Anyone have a clue or if it's even possible?

1. Open the Wearable app
2. Click on Watch settings
3. Click on General
4. Click on Quick responses

Thanks. The responses that are set here only apply when I am responding to a message I opened through a notification. So, I get a message, my watch notifies me, I swipe right and open the message and these responses are listed. BUT... If I open the messages app and select a message on my watch, the quick response list is completely different. This is the list I am trying to modify.

@userNacWxnEOdK Those may be coming from the Messages app settings on the phone. 

1. Open Google Messages on your phone
2. Click on your avatar (generally a circle with your intial)
3. Click on Message settings
4. Click on Suggestions. Here you can edit the items in Smart reply.

This is exactly what I was thinking. Unfortunately, I do not have any options of customizing. My Suggestions tab just has a bunch of on/off toggles. Thank you for your suggestions.

@userNacWxnEOdK Are you looking at Samsung Messages or Google Messages?

Google Messages. Smart Reply just toggles on and off. No options to customize.
