Wondering if anyone has had success adding this to their cellular service plan? I was told by Xfinity (Verizon towers) that the watch isn't compatible.
When I read the guidelines and look at Samsung website, everything aligns and should be compatible.
I'm thinking something is wrong on their end, maybe because of how soon I have the watch and they are still doing pre orders for watches sold through Xfinity.
Update: myself and others are in contact with Xfinity mobile specialist awaiting a response to this problem.
It doesn't say Which update though. I'm sure it will eventually work and it may be cost effictive to keep the watch until it does work depending on the deal you got. Personally, I'd send it back.

hmm, this is similar to what I got from samsung, though worded a bit differently. From what I was gathering, they were looking at a list of carriers for the watch which doesn't have xfinity on it - just like if you go to buy a phone and activate it, xfinity doesn't show up as an option. I would actually take this rep's comments with a grain of salt based on hte similar converation I had with mine and realizing they were reading from a script/list of major carriers, not mvno's like xfinity. I've sent an email to Xfinity executives - we'll see if I get any answers
Isn't it weird that they are making watches for Xfinity to sell and use on their service but when purchased from Samsung its not compatible already? But a brand new phone can be purchased from Samsung and used on Xfinity.

I agree - it makes no sense. I'm wondering if people buying the watch directly from Xfinity can even get it to activate right now? If not - then probably they just haven't added the watch model to their compatibility list at all yet. If so - then I'm guessing there's a slightly different model# and they only added that single one instead of all the possible watch 6 lte model #'s .... To me this is very clearly a lack of someone at xfinity mobile adding the model to their compatibliity list and nothing more.
But then their website says bring your own! Def some weird ish going on.. pretty sure delivery date for a watch pre ordered from Xfinity with today. I haven't tried it today but 🤷:male_sign:
