Hello!

Thank you for reaching out, I can understand doing so experiencing this symptom. Is your device able to power on to be able to reset the device? You can see how to reset your device by using this link, I would recommend doing this if you have not performed this already.

Whether you're using a phone, tablet, smart watch, or earbuds, all Galaxy devices have a set temperature range, where they operate at their best. While they may feel warm under certain conditions, like charging, this does not affect the device's lifespan or performance. However, if your devices get too warm, it could cause some issues. Give this link a try: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00076952/

If the symptoms persist, after this troubleshooting has been done, the unit may require service. Please feel free to reach out to us directly via one of the following options and include a link to this thread.

Hi

I have baught this watch about 4 months ago and since last week, the watch is heating up  frequently and switching off on its own. this drains the battery as well. I see this happening atlease 5-6 times a day.

Nothing new has been installed. In fact, I havetried to reset the watch a suggested in this forum which does not help either. Could you please let me know what can we do to get this fixed?

Regards

Have you been able to try the troubleshooting steps mentioned above? If you are still experiencing these symptoms after performing this I would recommend getting your device in the hands of a technician to evaluate and service your device. I would be happy to look into service options for you. Could you please provide me with the model number and serial/IMEI number for your device in a private message to do so? https://bit.ly/2SUXRar

Thank you

I have had my watch for a few months and am experiencing the same issue - I will be wearing the watch, not using ANY of its functions, and it will say it is overheating and needs to cool down.

Today I had my watch off, sitting on my desk (not on charge, just on my desk) it was not doing anything, when suddenly it said that it was overheating and needed to power off. The watch back was hot to touch, but for no reason at all, because as mentioned it was not in use, and the room temperature was only 20 degrees C, so quite a cool day.

What can I do to rectify this issue???
