Galaxy WatchI have the same problem and it started after an update on my GX4 over a year ago. My sound is barely audible have adjusted but the main problem that I cannot do is after answering the phone calls on the watch i cannot hear the caller but just barely if i put my ear to the watch but not loud enough to understand in a normal environment. I am not sure whether it is is software or hardware but the sound works through bluetooth headphones but doing music and other things with bluetooth on takes too much battery and is easier to do on the phone anyway. I am somewhat afraid that if I get a GX5 it would do the same thing. It is also not a big enough upgrade to justify the hassle and expense. Let us know if GX5 fixes this and if the upgrade was worth it.

Galaxy WatchThank you for reaching out. I can certainly understand your concern with your speakers not working on your Galaxy watch 4 classic and I would be happy to look into this further for you. If your Samsung smartwatch is not playing any sounds at all or is not emitting any noise from its speaker, even with the volume turned up, it is possible that the device has been muted. Or, a silent mode such as Do not disturb may have been turned on. You can check these settings and turn them off if needed. Give this link a try for possible troubleshooting steps to resolve the symptoms you are experiencing: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01204751/
If you have tried the troubleshooting steps provided and are still experiencing these symptoms, I would recommend a service repair.
You can use the following link to find a list of service centers in the U.S. that can do the repair: http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location or by contacting customer support at 1-800-726-7864.
