How do we file a mass action suit on this to get they're attention?

Nope. Spent a lot of time on the phone with several supervisors and techs. They're clueless and telling me that they will be in touch with me in two business days. Who knows. Al I know is I'm not tossing mine in the garbage just yet. Down loaded firmware from 2017 and might try that later via USB

Same model, same issue. Just started yesterday. I just tried to do a usb firmware update to a previous version but the rebooting doesn't allow it time to even start anything. Reeeaaally wish I hadn't hard reset earlier lol

I too had the same issue last night (HT-J5500W) and was wondering what the heck? Glad to hear it wasn't just me. I hope Samsung will own up to this glitch.

After turning on the system, it keeps checking ("loading") the DVD reader even though another command is given (for example: source Digital In). I reset the system but the problem persists.
