Home TheaterI have a BD-JM57c BluRay disk player and it got possed last night while watching YouTube( here in California). I knew I should have turned off auto update after the 2nd year. If Samsung is being shady about update and crashing their (not theirs anymore I bought it) products to get us to but new stuff when I for one am happy with it the was, then I sure as H***! will not be purchaseing another Samsung product. Vizio is a good product as T.V. goes and they have smart ones with apps all ready. To bad...loved Samsung.

Home TheaterI have 3 of these and all 3 went down 2 days ago . I thought i was the only person having this issue . Is samsung going to fix it or do we have to annoy and pester them until they fix it or replace everyones systems .
@userVjWtF7cC0p wrote:So last night all was fine...woke up this morning, turned tv on, turned sound on and nothing...
Swapped over to hdmi with the home screen to check settings and would flash from home screen to samsung logo back to home screen back to logo.... so on and so forth
Unplugged for about ten minutes, plugged in...did same thing
Turned off and did a hard reset using the remote and holding down the square/stop button...still nothing
So is it broke or is there something I can do

Home TheaterI had this same issue start yesterday. I came looking for the answer. I guess we just have to wait a couple days for a hopeful fix.

Home TheaterAs an online community we should all band tongether and give samsung 2 weeks ti fix this issue , if at the end of the 2 week period they have not fixed this this issue then we should start an initiation of said litigation against said corporation , What's everyones opinion on this .

Home TheaterSame thing here. I took the cover off and blew it out. Thought it was dirty. No fix. Glad we are not alone.

Home TheaterSame problem here in IL... we went to watch a movie and when we turned it on it just kept cycling through the load disc deal. We were able to get the disc out, but have not been able to use it since. This was about 2 days ago. This is ridiculous! You'd think they would have found a fix by now, as this seems to be affecting A LOT of people!!!

Home TheaterMy system is doing the exact same thing and the tech support says it must be sent in and pay for repairs. Kinda funny how the entire world is having issues but Samsung refuses to foot the bill.

Home TheaterThat's ridiculous. I'm not paying them a cent when this is their fault and a software issue that seems like it could be fixed through another firmware update. I'll keep wating to see if they fix it and if not, then good bye Samsung.
