Home TheaterIf your player is holding onto a disk, try holding the eject button down for 8-10 seconds. This got mine out.

Home TheaterI'm having the same problem as everyone else. If you haven't already found it, look on the bottom for a curved slot that is beneath the DVD, with the unit unplugged you should be able to move the tab that is in the slot with a small screwdriver or similar item. I was able to slowly eject the disc this way. Hopefully they will come up with a fix soon. Good luck!

Home TheaterI own a BD-J5700 Blu-ray player and I woke up this morning to the sound of the player trying to load a disc.
I haven't used the player in a few days, but it was working fine then. I wasn't aware this was a widespread issue until I signed on to the forum.
Like other owners, I tried unplugging it, loading a disc to play, changing the player function, etc. with no luck.
I will keep it unplugged until a real solution is posted. The sound of it trying to constantly load is annoying and I don't want to damage the player.

Home TheaterI like one of the online tech articles that said that it's a easy fix. Just sent another update out. How is it an easy fix?? I've had to unplug mine to keep it from burning the motor out I wonder what their solution will be?

Home TheaterWhat good will having in on my pc do? When I plug in the blu ray player it cycles on and off repeatedly.. I don't see how even putting it on a flash drive (something at least half the customers won't even know how to do) will help in this case.

Home TheaterI wonder how many people just trashed their players not know what was wrong.. I mean mine is a few years old so I was thinking it just wore out.. Samsung needs to get off their you know what and address us on this. I like their phones but it's not looking good for them in my house given my Samsung tv went bad after only 4 years also.

Home TheaterWhere in the world did you get crazy out of that? are you 10 years old? Your reply is not only useless to the topic but makes no sense at all... and you didn't answer the question on how to do an update via flash drive if the player WON'T STAY ON.
