Home TheaterSamsung, my BD-JM57C has not been usable for the last 6 days. Is there a solution to the boot loop problem yet?

Home TheaterSame issue. I would think after a week, a company the size of Samsung would fix this. Time to contact the media!!

Home TheaterOn or about June 19, I noticed I no longer got sound when choosing "Receiver" on my Samsung TV, which is connected via ARC to my Home Theater system.
Then, I tried to play a Blu-ray disk. Good luck. It goes into that loop everyone seems to be complaining about. I can't tell what firmware is installed. Can't get to the setup screen for the HT unit. I've tried several resets but nothing. This was working well just prior to the 19th.
My 2-year old 3D-player is essentially bricked.
I understand Samsung is allegedly "fixing?" the problem. This is the second unit I've had of this model.
If it's not fixed soon, I'm abandoning Samsung. I hate to shell out more money to replace my sound and player.
Also, judging by the numbe of people reporting similar problems with Samsung Blu-Ray players, this looks like the makings of a class-action law suit.

Home TheaterMy Blu-ray player started cycling on and off, my son was watching Netflix and hour later started cycling. Just need to get resolved I am not buying a new one since it seems like an update has messed these players. Probably be mailing a USB stick to everyone to fix it.

Home TheaterContact them via their online chat room. They will give you a ticket number for a repair and then e-mail you a prepaid UPS label to ship it to their New Jersey Service Center. I did this yesterday; I am in the US. Earlier in the week they indicated a USB stick solution, but apparently that didn't pan out.

Home TheaterThat's interesting, when I did the chat thing they just told me they were working on it and would post a solution when they had one. Maybe I should get a hold of them again.
