HW-B650: Set Power Link off

Hi there, I recently purchased a HW-B650 soundbar that I connected to my TV via a digital optical connection to a Sony smart TV. Since the TV is never truly off, the sound bar always stays on. If I turn it off with the remote, it turns back on after a few seconds.

I've looked for a Auto Power button on my remote but there is none. I've also tried holding the left direction arrow for more than 5 seconds in D.IN and in BT modes and neither of these helped.

I have provided the exact model of my soundbar in this thread. I would expect someone from Samsung to be able to tell me if I have this option or not on this model of soundbars, and how to turn it off if I do.

So, do I have a way to turn off the Auto Power feature on the HW-B650 soundbar and if so, how do I do it?

I have mine connected via hdmi arc/earc and have hdmi cec enabled on the TV settings (non samsung tv btw). Google says that the optical auto on/off feature is accessible by holding the left power button for 5 seconds.

Hi there, since your soundbar doesn't have a dedicated Auto Power Link button, I recommend trying the steps in this link to disable this feature:
