Home TheaterI’m having the same issue. My bar forced me to update in the middle of me using it. Now I can’t change inputs, get any sound from it, can’t even reset the bar. SmartThings thinks it’s turned off, unplugging it didn’t help, there’s nothing I can do. Now I can’t use the soundbar I spent $1500 on or the PS5 I have passing through it to my tv.

Home TheaterI would not ship to manufacture until they have answer me what next if they cant fix the problem. Espcially, when you are out of return or replacement windown time. That would cost a lots to fix it.
When i chat with them, they told me they dont have an answer for that, and forward this issue for further warrantty team and havent responsed back to me now. Thats unbelieveable.
I wont trust them until they have an answer since tons of consumers expericing withvthis issue. They might not know how to deal with it either.

Home TheaterSame problem here. Just woke up this morning to find out my 990D sound bar has no response. No sound, can't press the buttons on top of it at all.
Also auto updated to 1020 firmware.

Home TheaterEven I'm facing the same issue, initially I thought I somehow interrupted the firmware update process and hence this issue, but it looks like a lot of users are facing a similar issue as I'm. It's stuck on TV ARC, not taking any inputs from either remote or built in buttons on the bar, hence not able to reset as well. Samsung support guy wasn't able to diagnose the cause, I hope Samsung brings a fix as another update.
