Samsung Q990D unresponsive after 1020 firmware update

Since the update, the soundbar is unresponsive and can't be reset.

Seems like quite a few people with the issue

After contact with Samsung Poland, They told me, i had to take back the soundbar to the service center for repair.

I asked the Admin Samsung moderator to respond once more in this topic like he did in the beginning. Even without an update I think its good to keep the people aware that we are being listened to... 

Still I hope on update firmware soon to fix it and not sending back 100.000 soundbars per country, Or service team come to your home to fix this with patch... This is will be a big issue and takes half year I guess before all are back and fixed again... Or even worse we need to send all parts back including speakers I hear. How to get this all in 1 package that notthing damaged by moving in a truck and trowing on the ground. This costs the customer a lot of packaging stuff like buble foil etc which I don`t have here at the moment.

The service and communication at Samsung is really poor. If only they would keep us updated on the status and whether they are working on it.

Same problem here. Finland and q990d. Yesterday was working just fine. Now stuck on hdmi2.

Posted yesterday, already approaching 6K views.  You think Samsung would be throwing a lot of resources on this topic to try and resolve it quickly.  Considering this is their top of the line soundbar, with a new one right around the corner, they'd want to make sure potential customers don't have any concerns about Samsung support taking something like this seriously and responding quickly.

I have the same issues only had the bar for 2 weeks started off stuck on WiFi disconnected now tv earc unable to do anything with it such a disappointment
