I have a dishwasher, model DW7933LRAWW/AA, that just stopped filling all of a sudden. Power to the unit is fine, but after I turn the unit on and press the start button, it hums, but no water is heard.

Hello, I completely understand your concerns with the dishwasher not filling with water but making a humming sound. I'll more than delighted to assist with this issue. If your model allows it have you checked the drain filter? There should be an opening on the inside of the dishwasher that allows you to clean the filter.

If these steps do not resolve the issue. This issue will need to be addressed by having the unit serviced. You can use the following link to find a service center near you that can do the repair.  http://www.samsung.com/us/support/service/location

If the unit is still in warranty you can reach out to any of the moderators for further assistance. http://bit.ly/2tCGnGK

If I had to guess, it is likely a failed water inlet valve or float switch. Unfortunately, it will have to be serviced.
