Samsung Refrigerator  Model RF24FSEDBSR/AA  Version 1  Serial #HIDDEN

Ice Maker Leaking water from ice bucket into ice shoot and interior of the refrigerator.

I've been experiencing water leaking from the ice maker into the ice bucket and then down the ice shoot.  It is not ice left in the chute. I've already replaced the old, cracked ice bucket with the new replacement model #DA82-01397A but I'm still getting leaking.  Is it the gasket attached to the ice chute that's causing the problem with an improper seal?  What is the correct part number for the gasket on version 1 so I can replace it for hopefully a quick fix?

I had to replace the correct spelling on a work with chute because it would not send with the correct spelling.

Hello, David!  I'm so sorry to hear about the trouble. From the description of your symptoms, the unit will require service in order to get back to working order. While we do not have the exact part number, you can check our parts website at https://www.samsungparts.com for the part or call our parts team at, 1-800-627-4368. If they are unable to advise what the part is, the only other option would be to purchase a service manual to find it, as it's not something posted publically.

Alternatively, I would recommend reaching out to a Samsung authorized service center and having a tech take a look at your unit. You can utilize the following site to find a local Samsung service center in your area:
