LED and OLED TVsGreetings,
I have a Samsung QN90AA 50 Tv and YouTube TV. Up until last night it had worked for some years.
Now there is no video or sound. The guide shows up and all the settings tabs and so on. There is even the option to resume a previously viewed show and I can click on that.
No video at all. It is stuck on a black screen with the little circle spinning.
If I click on the resume show windows, there is a commercial for some 3 minutes. The commercial video shows. No problem. there little timer is there to show the 3 minutes going by. Then upon completion, the screen goes black with the spinning circle.
I have done the following: power recycle, reinstall, clear cache, delete Smart Hub and reset to factory specs. No change.
In looking at the nerd information there is NO "Network Activity" The connection speed shows as well as the buffer health.
Also, YouTube TV works fine on my Samsung S21, desktop, laptop, tablet and Roku device. No problem.
The Samsung TV is connected via hardware to the router. There is WiFi also. Tried both connections. Just in case there was a hard wire issue. Zero luck there.
Up until now, there was not any issue. Download speed is about 120 Mps and upload is about 60 Mps.

LED and OLED TVsI have the exact same issue! Same tv too. Did everything you said you did. They are no help at all. I canāt believe they canāt figure it out. Either Samsung broke it with an update or you tube tv did.

LED and OLED TVsReplace the board? Not a good solution at all.
It is a Tizan OS issue. Neither Samsung nor YouTube have the capacity to figure it out.
Something is blocking the data streaming. Everything else works.
The thumbnail images of the show will display from about 1:30 prior to the live moment.
I have contacted YTTV multiple times. Nothing.

LED and OLED TVsI contacted YouTube TV again. I am beginning to thing that Tier 2 means "don't contact me any more" because that is the final word from all my communications.
A number of people seem to be having the same issue.
Interestingly my phone will not stream YouTube TV to my Samsung TV. If I try the streaming connection, the screen on the TV is the same with a spinning circle. No video play. No video play on my phone either.
Once I disconnect the streaming connection, it plays on my phone.
I guess we will all need to huddle around my phone for the NFL season

LED and OLED TVsUpdate.
Yesterday:
1) Signed out of YouTube TV on the Samsung TV.
2) Signed out of all connections with my Samsung TV on my google account.
3) Deleted unnecessary apps on the TV
4) Reset the Samsung TV to default factory settings.
5) checked for firmware updates. I thought there was a 2210.1 update in July but apparently that was not for the QN90A. I am still with v. 2210
6) Power cycled TV. Unplugged and waited an hour then plugged back in.
7) Opened up YouTube TV on my S21 phone and hit "broadcast".
š SAME PROBLEM.!
The video will not play. I did not even reinstall YouTube TV on my Samsung. I just tried to broadcast to the Samsung in trying to see if I can get something to play. I get the spinning wheel again with the attempted broadcast. Not only that, but the video does not play on my phone either. Once I disconnected the broadcast, my phone started working again as usual.
The diagnostics still shows no network activity. The guide shows up and the thumbnails for what has been broadcast shows as well. Just not live. The video commercials for the library shows will play, then it stops at the commencement of the show.
I am sending this above observation to YouTube.
I fully expect a bunch of thanks and "sending it to Tier 2"
Ugh.

LED and OLED TVsAny updates? I had the same issue start recently after a brief power outage. Have tried all the same steps. Reset TV & router. Reinstalled YTTV. Tried casting from my phone, where it works until i start to cast! Finally gave up and plugged in the old firestick we were using before getting the new TV. At least I can still watch until I get the TV sorted. Maybe the next firmware update will fix the issue?
